We welcome the joyous noise of children! We know when families and church come together great things happen. The primary purpose of St. Stephen's Children's Ministry is to partner with families. Our goal is for every child that walks through our doors to feel safe, loved and hear the good word of Jesus.
Typically Children's Chapel is offered during our 9:30 a.m. service for children in kindergarten through the 4th grade. However, due to COVID-19 and the precautions we are taking, we are not doing Children's Chapel at this time. We do have activity bags and snacks for children at each service with a Children's Bulletin that they can work on during the service. Once we resume Children's Chapel, we will post the information here.
During Children's Chapel, the children will hear the same readings and have a special message. Parent's may drop off their children before the start of church. Children will join the service at the Offertory and be invited around the altar for the consecration.
*Due to COVID-19 restrictions at this time, the Soft Space is closed.
There is a soft space at the back of the church designed for families with children under 5 years old. You will find quiet toys, coloring pages, and space for your little ones to move around.
There are also activity bags located by the Welcome Table before going into the church. Families can take a bag for use during the service.
